Madhu Uppal, a seasoned educator, excels in mentoring both educators and students in disciplines ranging from science to leadership. Her roles extend to being a writer, speaker, mentor, lyricist, and entrepreneur, all rooted in her commitment to community service. With advanced degrees in nutrition and educational administration, and a background shaped by her upbringing in small Indian cities and government schools, she possesses a unique insight into educational challenges. In the US, she actively contributes to various organizations, including libraries, cultural and mental health groups, and theaters. As the founding president of AIANA, Madhu uses her comprehensive experience and analytical skills to steer the organization’s direction and impact.

Shivam Viswanathan, an IT Director by profession, is deeply involved in community service, focusing on organizing national events for children and coaching soccer with the Naperville Park District. He also teaches computer programming and robotics in After School Enrichment programs. Shivam supports various non-profits like AMEC, Vidya Jyoti, and IAC, utilizing his digital expertise in website development, audio/video production, marketing, digital publication, and social media management. His actions are fueled by a commitment to societal contribution, aiming to make a significant positive impact through his diverse skills and community engagement.

Anu Khetarpal has been a leader in organizational development, corporate learning, and social advocacy. With extensive experience as a consultant in workforce development, she has been instrumental in advancing best practices in mental health and cognitive disabilities. She designed and led impactful programs that drive meaningful change within corporations and communities. A skilled writer and speaker, she continues to support many organizations and individuals with their needs, always with humility and dedication. Currently, Anu also serves as the Secretary of AIANA, and contributes her time and expertise as a Board Director of Vidya Jyoti and FIA.

Gitesh Shah is a seasoned electro-mechanical engineer with a strong educational background and over 45 years of experience in Defense, Telecommunications, and Aviation. He retired as a Project Manager for the FAA, marking a distinguished career. Currently, he serves on the AIANA Board and actively participates in Hindu Satsang community events. Outside of his professional life, Gitesh enjoys a variety of hobbies, including Golf, Pickleball, Bridge, and Karaoke. His diverse interests reflect his dynamic personality and commitment to community service. Gitesh’s extensive career and community involvement highlight his dedication and versatility, showcasing a well-rounded individual with a passion for social cause.

Sakshi Sharma is an accomplished IT professional with a deep commitment to community service and social impact. As a dedicated Board of Director at AIANA, she plays a pivotal role in driving initiatives that benefit the community. In addition to her work with AIANA, Sakshi actively volunteers with the International Geeta Gurukul Foundation and the Brahmin Organisation of India, dedicating her time and energy to their missions. Her compassionate heart and tireless efforts exemplify her as a source of inspiration and positive change in the lives she touches.

Dharam Bahl possesses an impressive academic background, holding a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics and a Master of Business Administration in Finance. With over 35 years of experience in the global insurance industry, he developed a expertise in managing property and liability exposures for U.S. corporations, ultimately retiring as a Vice President after a distinguished career.
